Integrated STEM Learning Manager, Job Posting

Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is seeking a creative, collaborative, and mission-driven Integrated STEM Learning Manager to help shape the future of STEM and environmental education in southwest Michigan. This full-time position serves as the Institute’s lead for formal education partnerships, curriculum innovation, and preK-12 STEM learning initiatives. Located on 850 acres of forests, wetlands, prairies, lakes, and working lands, the Institute offers a unique opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences in nature. The Integrated STEM Learning Manager will work closely with school districts, teachers, administrators, early childhood educators, and community partners to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, scientific literacy, environmental stewardship, and systems thinking.

The ideal candidate is an innovative educator and relationship builder who understands both formal education systems and the power of place-based learning. This position leads ScienceStrong programming, supports curriculum development initiatives with Hastings Area School System and other partners, coaches educators, and helps create pathways that connect learners to science through the Institute’s wild, working, and wonder lands. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating welcoming learning environments where students, educators, and community members feel a sense of belonging and have meaningful opportunities to engage with STEM and environmental education. Media & Marketing Coordinator, Job Description

Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is seeking a creative, organized, and collaborative Media & Marketing Coordinator to help tell the story of our 850-acre campus of forests, wetlands, prairies, and working lands. This full-time, in-person position supports the Institute’s marketing, communications, and engagement efforts by helping connect people to our mission through storytelling, digital media, photography, design, and community outreach.

The Media & Marketing Coordinator works across all departments to capture and share the people, programs, research, events, and experiences that make the Institute a vibrant center for environmental education, conservation, and community connection. This position also supports fundraising and membership efforts through thoughtful communication, brand consistency, and public engagement.

The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, and eager to grow. We are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has strong communication and visual storytelling skills, and is excited to help strengthen the Institute’s presence throughout the region. This role offers opportunities for growth and professional development in marketing, communications, website management, design, and organizational leadership.
