Integrated STEM Learning Manager, Job Posting

Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is seeking a creative, collaborative, and mission-driven Integrated STEM Learning Manager to help shape the future of STEM and environmental education in southwest Michigan. This full-time position serves as the Institute’s lead for formal education partnerships, curriculum innovation, and preK-12 STEM learning initiatives. Located on 850 acres of forests, wetlands, prairies, lakes, and working lands, the Institute offers a unique opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences in nature. The Integrated STEM Learning Manager will work closely with school districts, teachers, administrators, early childhood educators, and community partners to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, scientific literacy, environmental stewardship, and systems thinking.

The ideal candidate is an innovative educator and relationship builder who understands both formal education systems and the power of place-based learning. This position leads ScienceStrong programming, supports curriculum development initiatives with Hastings Area School System and other partners, coaches educators, and helps create pathways that connect learners to science through the Institute’s wild, working, and wonder lands. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating welcoming learning environments where students, educators, and community members feel a sense of belonging and have meaningful opportunities to engage with STEM and environmental education. This role offers the opportunity to help shape the next generation of scientists, problem-solvers, and stewards while working as part of a talented team dedicated to learning, conservation, and community impact.
