Wednesday, October 7 Lunch: Noon–1 pm Program: 1–2 pm
Join us for a fascinating look into the history and modern practice of falconry, an ancient sport centered on training and working with birds of prey. Our presenter will bring at least one live hawk, offering attendees a rare opportunity to observe and learn about raptors up close.
The program will explore the traditions and current practices of falconry, including its role as a hunting sport, while emphasizing respect for native raptors and their ecological importance. There will be plenty of time for questions and conversation following the presentation.
Program: Free Lunch: Members $15 | Non-Members $21
Please register by Wednesday, September 30 to reserve a lunch.
