Trick or Treat on the Trails
Welcome, all young ghosts and ghouls, to this year’s Pierce Cedar Creek Institute’s annual Trick or Treat on the Trails!
On Saturday, October 25, the trails will come alive with a mix of hiking, haunting, and candy-filled fun. Dress up your little ones this year in their spooky best costumes and see the spectacle at PCCI.
Take a walk down a magically transformed storybook trail (about a quarter of a mile) with your little ones all dressed up! Bring your little princesses, superheroes, or villains and collect candy and special treats down the trail, all while taking in the beauty of the Institute and that October spooky glow!

After you tackle the trail, come inside and warm up with warm drinks, snacks, games, and crafts.
This event in Barry County has few rivals, as it is a one-of-a-kind experience. With booths giving out treats set up by businesses and clubs from all over the county, this event truly has the sense of a village coming together to celebrate.
2025 is the year to switch up the routine and try a wooded trick-or-treating trail at Pierce Cedar Creek Institute on Saturday, October 25, from 6 – 8:30 pm (the last entry to the trail will be at 7:50 pm), so enjoy the trails and take in a wooded, natural, and spooky Halloween at PCCI.
