Looking for a fun, free, and family-friendly way to explore the outdoors this summer? Mark your calendar and join us for Pierce Cedar Creek Institute’s Open House on Friday, August 9, from 11 am to 2 pm!

This annual event is a celebration of everything we love about nature, science, and community. Whether it’s your first time visiting or you’ve been coming for years, the Open House is a great opportunity to experience all the Institute has to offer—at no cost!

What to Expect:

  • FREE Moo-Ville ice cream and hotdogs
  • Hands-on science and nature activities for all ages
  • Family-friendly crafts and games
  • Chances to win discounts on PCCI memberships and programs
  • And so much more!

You’ll also have the opportunity to meet our staff and learn more about their roles and why they enjoy working at the Institute. It will be an excellent opportunity to gain a better understanding of everything PCCI-related.

Admission is completely free, but registration is encouraged so we can plan for the best experience possible for all visitors. Plus, if you’re coming from Hastings, Barry County Transit is offering round-trip rides for just $2, pickup is at 11 am from the Hastings Courthouse.

See you on the trail,
The Pierce Cedar Creek Institute Team
