Each spring, our Native Plant Sale brings the story of Pierce Cedar Creek Institute full circle from seed collection on the landscape to thriving native plants in your garden.
Throughout the year, PCCI staff and volunteers carefully collect native seeds from the PCCI landscape as well as from generous neighbors who steward surrounding lands. These seeds are propagated in our greenhouses and nurtured into healthy Michigan native grasses, wildflowers, and curated plant mixes. Each plant is selected not only for its beauty, but for its ability to support pollinators, strengthen biodiversity, and restore habitat across our region.

Our online pre sale opens January 31, offering thoughtfully curated native plant mixes that make it easy to get started whether you are planting a pollinator patch, restoring a habitat plot, or adding native beauty to your yard. Pre sale orders can be placed at https://www.cedarcreekinstituteplants.com/ and picked up at our Native Plant Sale on May 30, where individual plants and additional items will also be available for in person purchase.
Every plant sold directly supports PCCI’s Stewardship work and is made possible by the dedication of our incredible volunteers. On sale day, staff and volunteers will be on hand to help you choose the right plants for your space and answer questions along the way.
Join us in growing native plants, healthy landscapes, and a thriving future one garden at a time.
