Policy Information:
Payment: Payment must be made by credit card within two weeks from the receipt of this acceptance email. Reservations are not secure until payment has been made.
Cancellations/Reschedules: If you need to cancel your reservation, contact
cbivens@cedarcreekinstitute.org or call (269) 721-4191. All cancellations/reschedules are subject to a $50 handling fee. Reservations canceled two weeks or less prior to your scheduled arrival date will result in the forfeit of the full amount due. Rescheduling of your reservation must be done no later than two weeks prior to your original scheduled arrival date and is subject to availability.
Liability and Damages: If the Institute determines that more than standard clean-up is required at the conclusion of your stay, a clean-up fee and /or actual replacement costs for damages to Institute property will be charged to you. The Institute shall have no liability of any sort for the damage or loss of any personal property brought onto Institute premises. You assume full responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or liability of any nature whatsoever to people, property, or Institute property caused by you.
Replacement Key(s): If lanyards and keys are not returned, a $10.00 replacement fee will be charged to your credit card.
All activities on Pierce Cedar Creek Institute property must be peaceful and lawful and must not interfere with the rights of others.
Promotional Policy: Pierce Cedar Creek Institute may create promotional content such as testimonials or videos featuring your participation. You will have the right to review and approve any content before it is released to the public. However, we reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to ensure content aligns with marketing objectives.
Alcohol/Smoking Policy: Pierce Cedar Creek Institute’s buildings and grounds are tobacco-free. Guests are allowed to smoke in their cars or, if staying overnight, in a designated area outside of the cottage and dispose of the product in the provided receptacle. We ask that smokers be respectful of guests using nearby trails. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged to you if signs of smoking are detected inside the cottage. Alcohol is allowed in Batts Cottage only. Submission of this application confirms your agreement to follow the above Restrictions and Guidelines.
Your application will be reviewed, and we will contact you if there are further questions. Our goal is to inform you of acceptance of your application as soon as possible, but not later than two weeks. Your application is not confirmed until you receive notice from us.
If your application is accepted, a rental agreement and payment are required with your reservation confirmation.
