The beautiful surroundings of the Institute will create the perfect setting for your meeting or retreat. Our friendly staff will work with you to make your event a success!
Our facilities are available to environmental and conservation groups, educational institutions, and non-profit associations. The facilities are also available for rent to companies who wish to have their annual meetings, staff retreats, and company presentations in a natural setting.

We can accommodate up to 250 people for meetings and 42 people for overnight retreats. Whether your needs call for a mid-day snack or an elegant sit-down meal, we can work with you to meet your needs. Audiovisual equipment and facility setup is included with every rental.
Discounts are offered for daytime rentals and to non-profit organizations. Retreat packages are available as low as $55 per person for overnight accommodations and meals.

Please note that the Institute is unable to accommodate private social functions such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, graduation open houses, etc. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Visitor Center (entire building)

The Visitor Center is the perfect choice for large groups and retreats. Your group will have access to the auditorium, dining room, and commons area. The multiple rooms are ideal for breakout sessions and display areas.

Dining Room
|
The dining room, located in the Visitor Center, offers extraordinary views of the natural landscape. The 1,000 gallon aquarium, filled with native Michigan fresh-water fish, is sure to be a conversation starter among your guests.

|

Our three housing facilities can accommodate groups up to 42. Bedding and linens are provided. Two of the properties have living room/lounge areas, perfect for team building exercises, small meetings, or socializing. Guests are welcome to checkout board games from the Visitor Center.

Hyla House
|
This remodeled farmhouse has ten single rooms and one double room. There are four full baths. Guests can gather and socialize in the living room and dining area. A kitchenette area (with refrigerator and microwave) allows groups to store and prepare basic meals or snacks.

|

- Pierce Cedar Creek Institute can accommodate groups up to 42 for overnight accommodations (limited availability during the summer).
- A minimum of 10 people is needed for package rate and/or food service.
- Meeting room is assigned according to size of group.
24 or less = Education Classroom
25+ = Auditorium
- Breakout rooms are available for additional fee.
- Meeting room is available from 8 am - 5 pm. Meeting space is available in the evening for an additional charge.
- The dining room is available for meals. Groups may use the dining room from 6 pm - 8 pm for dinner.
