Registration and Cancellation Policy

In the event that weather conditions or other circumstances should cause Pierce Cedar Creek Institute to cancel an event, a full refund will be issued. If a registrant must cancel, the cancellation must be received before 24 hours of the event to receive a refund. Cancellations received after this date will not be eligible for a refund; however, certain situations may be considered as exceptions. For events that require pre-payment, no space will be held without full payment.

Photography Waiver

Pierce Cedar Creek uses photographs or video taken during our programs for marketing and public relations purposes. Photos may appear in our quarterly newsletter, in local newspapers, on our website, or in other publications. If you do not want you or your child’s picture to be published, please inform a staff member.

Land Management Planning Workshop: Encouraging Healthy Natural Resources

Event details: 

During these workshops, participants will develop a land management plan specific to their property that identifies the goals and objectives for the site and lists the steps required to achieve those objectives. The workshops will cover stewardship of plant communities (forests, prairie, wetlands, and agricultural land) and address quality deer management and control of plants and animals that cause problems (such as Emerald ash borer). In addition to Institute staff, Hugh Brown and Jen Howell, providing information about maintaining healthy land, several conservation partners and consultants will be available to discuss specialized resource management.
