Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is both a nature center and biological field station. The Institute provides a wide range of activities and learning experiences, from establishing a backyard wildlife habitat and increasing home energy efficiency, to guided nature hikes and lectures on ecological and environmental topics.

Registration and Cancellation Policy
In the event that weather conditions or other circumstances should cause Pierce Cedar Creek Institute to cancel an event, a full refund will be issued. If a registrant must cancel, the cancellation must be received before 24 hours of the event to receive a refund. Cancellations received after this date will not be eligible for a refund; however, certain situations may be considered as exceptions. For events that require pre-payment, no space will be held without full payment.
Pierce Cedar Creek uses photographs or video taken during our programs for marketing and public relations purposes. Photos may appear in our quarterly newsletter, in local newspapers, on our website, or in other publications. If you do not want you or your child’s picture to be published, please inform a staff member.
